Watercolour paintings inspired by Glastonbury and the Somerset landscape.
Inspired by Place
Jackie Henderson is a watercolour artist based in Glastonbury, Somerset. Her work is inspired by the surrounding landscape — from the distinctive form of Glastonbury Tor to the Levels, orchards and quiet corners of the countryside that shape the character of the region.
Driven by Passion
Working primarily in watercolour, Jackie’s paintings explore atmosphere, light and the subtle details of the natural world. Many subjects are drawn from careful observation of the landscape and wildlife that surround her studio, capturing fleeting moments of stillness, movement and seasonal change.
Jackie’s work is rooted in a deep connection to the Somerset landscape. From Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding Levels to birds, flora and rural scenes, her paintings reflect a quiet appreciation of place and the rhythms of the natural world.
Alongside original paintings, Jackie produces high-quality giclée prints and greeting cards, allowing her work to reach a wider audience. Her paintings have been exhibited locally and have also appeared in Country Living magazine and at the Country Living Fair in London.
